Experience Summer at "The Wave", Svendborg Harbour

Since 2011, "Bølgen" (The Wave) has brought weekly free entertainment to Svendborg Harbour every summer (June–August). Enjoy performances by local musicians, choirs, dancers, actors, storytellers, and more on this beautiful floating bandstand next to the harbour office.

The unique wooden stage has won several architectural awards and provides the perfect setting for a lively atmosphere. With a focus on community and diversity, The Wave showcases what Svendborg has to offer for locals and visitors alike.

Thanks to support from Svendborg Municipality’s culture grants and local sponsors, we continue to offer memorable summer experiences and plan to expand with even more exciting events in the years to come.

From 2026, the entertainment will take place from 4:30–5:30 PM, and the full program will be announced early in 2026.
